Magel Gustafson
– son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Gustafson of Perry, was born in Sedan, Kans. on July 31, 1919. Magel attended the elementary grades in Fairport, Gorham and Russell, Kans., and attended high school in Ellinwood, Kans., Chandler, Okla., and Perry.
During his high school career he was a member of the football team and high school band.
Following graduation he expects to work in the oil fields and possibly to go to college.
Magel Hampton “Guss” Gustafson
July 31, 1919 – May 16, 1985
Magel H. “Guss” Gustafson, 65, a resident of Albuquerque for 27 years, died Thursday.
He is survived by wife Louise Gustafson, of the home; sons Steve Gustafson, Lubbock, TX; and Joe Gustafson, Alb.; daughter Susan Boyles, Panama City, FL; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Ridgecrest Christian Church and Harmony Lodge #75 A.F. A.M.
Services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Ridgecrest Christain Church, 5300 Eastern Ave. SE, with Larry D. Pierson officiating.
