Jean Lee, 17, was born in Maude, Okla., and attended grade school in Orlando before coming to Perry high school. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Lee of 829 Jackson street, and was born Oct. 31, 1930.

Miss Lee is a member of Rainbow and this year is serving as R.R.F. president. She was attendant for the Cherokee Strip queen last September.

In addition she was a member of the Perryscope staff this past year, has belonged to Teen Town since 1944, to Y-Teens since 1945, was basketball queen attendant and wrestling queen attendant in 1945-46, and played in the band from 1945 to 1947.

Jacqueline ‘Jean’ Holland Jean went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 6, 2007, with her family at her bedside.

She was born Oct. 31, 1930, in Maud, OK, to Glenn and Faye Lee. She graduated from Perry High School in 1948. Jean attended OSU where she was in the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She worked in the banking field and was a purchasing agent for MacklanburgDuncan.

Jean married the love of her life, Jack Holland on June 2, 1956. While she and Jack resided in Enid, OK, she co-owned The Holland House Restaurant and was very active in several local social clubs.

Jean designed and helped promote Candle Stick Beach in Tulsa, below Keystone Dam housing edition. She co-owned and managed two hotels in Oklahoma City. Jean managed all the bookkeeping for their family’s real estate businesses.

Jean leaves behind her loving husband; three children, John, Terry and Mary Lee; three grandchildren, one great-grandson and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mass will be Friday, May 11, 2007, 10:30 am at St. Monica Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Monica Catholic Church, in Memory of Jean Holland.
