Jack Holland hopes to enter Oklahoma A. & M. college following graduation from Perry high school.

Born March 24, 1930, in Enid, he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Holland of 616 Cedar street. Jack attended St. Joseph grade school in Enid before entering Perry high school. He is a member of the naval reserve and Senior Scouts.

School activities include membership in the Distributive Education club in 1945-46-67; homeroom president, 1946-57; football and band queen publicity manager, 1945-47; Teen Town council, 1948; and vice president of the senior class.

He participated in football 1945-47; basketball, 1946-48; and baseball this year. He hopes to become a salesman or business manager eventually.

John James “Jack” Holland, Jr. was born March 24, 1930, in Enid, Oklahoma, to John James Holland, Sr. and Elizabeth Jacoby. He was the eldest of five siblings.

Funeral service for Jack Holland will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday March 10, 2012, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church, 2001 N. Western Avenue, Edmond, Oklahoma.
