Patricia Luella Fine is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Fine, Twelfth street and Highland drive. Patricia, who also has attended schools at Mount Pleasant, Mich, is 17 years old. She was born June 30, 1939, in Borger, Texas. Her plans for the future are indefinite.
Patricia Luella “Patty” (Fine) Sterling
June 30, 1939 – May 1, 2005
On May 1, 2005, at about 4 a.m. Patricia Luella Sterling, 65, passed from this life and has gone to accept her rewards in heaven.
Born on June 30, 1939, in Borger, Texas, she was the daughter of Edgar Allen and Luella Fine. Patty was a Baptized Catholic with strong Christian beliefs.
On Dec. 31, 1973, she and E.D. Sterling of Hobbs, N.M., were married and he survives her. Hobbs, N.M., has been her home for most of her life.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Leisa Luella Milliron, who died as an infant and is interred at Perry, Okla.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Matthew Milliron of Lubbock, Texas, and Mark Allen Sterling of Hobbs, N.M.; two daughters, Nancy Ann Lyon of Hobbs, N.M., and Judith Hodgkiss of Texas; a brother, Arthur “Mike” Fine of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Virginia Choate of Abilene, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
There will be no public services and Patty opted for direct cremation. Her earthly remains will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery. For their compassionate and professional care of Patty, please remember VistaCare Hospice to memorialize her.
