Gladys “Deanne” (Inselman) Van Hoesen

October 15, 1928 – September 21, 2008

Deanne Van Hoesen, 79, a former resident of Perry, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, in Perryton, TX, where she had lived since 1957.

She was born in Orlando, OK on Oct. 15, 1928. She was a salad bar cook at K-Bob’s for 16 years and a member of the Southside Baptist Church of Perryton.

Mrs. Van Hoesen is survived by her husband, Roy Van Hoesen of Perryton, TX; her son Kevin Van Hoesen of Perryton; daughter Vanessa Swenhaugen of Perryton; son and his wife, Roy Jr. and Shirley Van Hoesen of Perry, OK; sister Erna James of Perry; and brothers Melvin Inselman of Perry and John Inselman of Lucien.

Also surviving are her granddaughters, Jennifer and husband Ross Gregg; Mandy and husband Gary Snyder and Shala Swenhaugen; her grandsons, Brady and wife Mikela Swenhaugen and Shane Swenhaugen, and six great-grandchildren: Ciara Gregg, Mariah Gregg, Taleah Gregg, Hadlee Snyder, Bella Swenhaugen and Sofi Swenhaugen.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the Southside Baptist Church of Perryton, TX, the Rev. Joe Stepp officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept 25, in Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, OK, the Rev. Roger Dunn officiating.
