Marie (Tyler) Spangler

August 28, 1886 – December 17, 1985

Marie Tyler Spangler, 99, Indianapolis, Indiana, died Tuesday, December 17, 1985, in Community Hospital.

Born August 18, 1886, in Parsons, Kansas, she was the daughter of Albert and Mary Tyler. She graduated from Perry high school in 1905 and worked in Oklahoma City as a stenographer before her marriage.

Her husband, Raymond F. Spangler, preceded her in death in 1964. She resided in Indianapolis most of her life.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, and one brother, Marion Tyler. She is survived by one sister, Marguerite Murta, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Crown Hill Gothic Chapel with burial at the Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
