Mabel Ione (Kirtley) Beasley

September 25, 1915 – May 7, 1994

Mabel Ione Beasley, 78, Duncan, sister of Perryans, died Saturday, May 7, 1994, at her home at Duncan.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Westside Christian church in Duncan with Rev. Doug Hauenstein officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Hill cemetery in Perry under direction of Don Grantham Funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chisholm Trail Hospice, Post Office Box 1147, Duncan, OK, 73534.

Mrs. Beasley was born at Perry, Sept. 25, 1915, to Charles T. and Frances J. (Sokol) Kirtley. She and Herman J. Beasley were married at Perry on Feb. 10, 1934. Beasley preceded his wife in death on May 8, 1991.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Beasley was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Phil and Bill Kirtley, and one sister, Clara Pantier.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, John Beasley, Tulsa, and Don and Bobbie Beasley, Duncan; one brother, Larkin Kirtley, Perry; three sisters, Alice Koch and Janice Endres, both of Perry, and Mary Bocox, Medford; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
