Clarence Frederick “Jim” Mildfelt

December 17, 1912 – August 25, 1983

Jim Mildfelt, 70, 912 South Brookwood drive, died at 6:50 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s hospital after a brief illness.

The son of Peter and Mary Mildfelt, he was born Dec. 17, 1912, at Okeene. He moved to this area with his family while a young boy. He was a graduate of Perry high school and on Oct. 24, 1939, married Helena Rolling at Perry.

Mildfelt was engaged in farming and was a painting contractor. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic church and the Knights of Columbus.

In addition to Mrs. Mildfelt, of the home, survivors include two sons, William J. Mildfelt, Lewisville, Texas; and Robert J. Mildfelt, Oklahoma City; a brother, Eddie G. Mildfelt, Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Helen Culley, Albuquerque, N.M.; and three grandchildren.

Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Friday at Parker Funeral home chapel. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic church. Rev. Ward J. Pankratz, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at the Catholic cemetery.
