Margaret “Pearl” (Coyle) Vivian

November 20, 1894 – January 15, 1988

Margaret Pearl Vivian, 1303 S. Boundary, 93, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday at Green Valley Nursing Center.

She was a lifelong resident of this community, having been born in Perry, Oklahoma Territory, Nov. 20, 1894, to Edward and Margaret Coyle.

She was married to Jesse Vivian in 1923 in Perry, and she assisted in the family business, the Coyle Cotton Company. She was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian church and member of the Ladies Tuesday Afternoon club.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Beulah Coyle of Perry; five nieces, Nancy Hasenfratz, Kingfisher; Dorothy Sunderman, Sunnyvale, Calif.; Doris Teegarten, Pawnee; Gayle Coyle, Sunnyvale, and Margie Lou Schwab, Stillwater, and one nephew, Edward Coyle III, Oklahoma City.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Pat.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian church with Rev. Jim Dunkin, pastor, officiating at services. Burial will be at Grace Hill cemetery under direction of the Brown Funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian church.
