Bruce James Wilson

August 22, 1903 – November 12, 1971

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Parker chapel for Bruce James Wilson, 68, Del City, formerly of Perry, who died Friday at his home. Burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery.

He was born Aug. 22, 1903, in Solomon, Kansas, the son of William and Alice (Hosie) Wilson. Wilson moved to Perry in 1910 and graduated from Perry high school in 1924.

On January 6, 1936, Wilson and Sybil Bernice Ballard were married.

His usual occupation was carpenter. He and his family moved to California in 1949 and to Del City in 1968.

He is survived by his wife, Sybil, of the home address; two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Tatum, Del City, and Mrs. Jacquelyn Canning, Virginia Beach, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Benson, Santa Fe, N.M.; and five grandchildren.
