- 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Everette W. Benedict of route 2, Perry, was born at Davenport, Okla., May 29, 1928, and will be one of the youngest members of this year’s senior graduating class.
He belongs to the Boy Scouts and was in the National Honor Society in 1941-42. He appeared in various operettas in grade school, and went out for wrestling.
Tommy intends to work this summer, then attend Oklahoma A. & M. college, Stillwater, next year.

Thomas Eugene Benedict passed away Sunday, September 11, 2005 from pneumonia.
Born in Davenport, Oklahoma on May 29, 1928, to Everett and Anna Benedict. He graduated from Perry high school in 1945 and attended Oklahoma A. & M in Stillwater, OK.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Patsy Jean Henry, in May, 2004.
He is survived by his only daughter, Jeanne Gilson of Corpus Christi, Texas, her husband; and grandson, Gary; two loving granddaughters, Kelly Gilson and Erin Ring, her husband Justin; and his only great-grandchild, Audrey Ring; his brother, Bill Benedict and his wife, Kathryn; one nephew, Tony Benedict and one niece, Tara Dragon, her husband, Gary and great-nephew, Randy.
Services will be Friday, September 16, 2005, at First United Methodist Church Chapel in Corpus Christi at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, we respectfully request your consideration of a memorial donation to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
