Florene Ione (Thompson) Musick

December 1, 1943 – October 20, 2006

Florene Ione Musick, 62, of Springdale, Arkansas, died Friday at her home.

Born Dec. 1, 1943, in Oklahoma City, she was the daughter of William Bryan and Bessie Hogatt Thompson. She graduated from Perry High School and was married to Gerald Joe Musick.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fayetteville, where she was administrative secretary from 1980 to 2004. She served in local to international roles in the Lutheran church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randall Scott Musick; and two half-brothers, William B. Thompson and Robert C. Thompson.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters, Linda Kaye Musick Caviness and Mary Louis Musick Gates; a sister, Mildred Thompson Meyer; a half-brother, Billie Dean Workman; and four grandchildren.

Service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fayetteville with Pastors Bob Lutze and Fred Nelson officiating.
