Ina Ruth (Bradshaw) Spencer

October 21, 1910 – October 30, 2000

Ina R. (Bradshaw) Spencer, 90, of 8 Doctor’s Lane, Macomb, Illinois, died at 11:05 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at Heartland Healthcare Center.

Born Oct. 21, 1910, in Pomona, Mo., she was the daughter of Sinnett Edward and Millie Trimmer Bradshaw. On Oct. 19, 1929, she and Cecil Daniels were married and she graduated from Perry High School in 1932.

She married John W. Spencer on Feb. 29, 1936, in Fairfax, Okla. He died March 20, 1978.

She was a hospital dietitian in Oklahoma for many years before retiring.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Macomb, where she was an officer of the United Methodist Women’s group.

One sister and five brothers also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Bobby Jo (and Larry) Kellogg of Macomb and Bonnie (and Francis) Leintz of Glenwood Springs, Colo.; two sons, John (and Ann) of Basalt, Colo., and Lafayette (and Anita) of Port Charlotte, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb on Thursday. The Rev. Lyren Rix will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her church mission.
