Murrell Omega (Wadsworth) Robb

January 23, 1912 – January 13, 1960

Mrs. Delbert Robb, a leader in local and district Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary affairs, died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday at her home, 1105 Birch street, following a six-month illness. She would have been 48 January 23.

Mrs. Rob, the former Murrell Wadsworth, was born January 23, 1912, in Perry. She graduated from Perry High School in 1930 and was married June 18, 1942, to Delbert M. Robb in Houston, Texas.

She was a member of the Methodist church and formerly taught a Sunday school class. She also had been active in youth work.

She was a past chaplain of the Perry VFW auxiliary, and was serving this year as treasurer of the 8th district auxiliary. Mrs. Robb also was a member of the Degree of Honor.

In addition to her husband of the home, survivors include a sister, Mrs. Twila Crawford, Hoisington, Kan.; and a cousin, Mrs. Maude Henriksen, Perry.

Her parents, three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Newton chapel, with burial in Grace Hill cemetery. Rev. Homer Trotter, minister of the First Methodist church, will officiate at last rites.
