- son of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Cole was born August 3, 1918, in St. Louis, Missouri. He has attended school in Perry for twelve years.

He is a member of the State Honor Society and the National Honor Society.

He is especially interested in chemical, electrical and mechanical engineering.

He is planning to attend A. and M. College.

Arthur L. Cole

August 3, 1918 – February 15, 1963

Arthur L. Cole, 44, of 6445 Kenwick, Fort Worth, Texas, died at his home Friday morning.

Born August 3, 1918, in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of Arthur S. and Eva (Gold) Cole. He was a 1936 graduate of Perry high school and continued his education at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma.

He moved to Fort Worth seven years ago where he worked as a test engineer for General Dynamics.

He was a member of Ridglea Presbyteria Church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Helen Louis Manning; son, Marty Dee Cole; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Cole of Perry.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Strode Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Struthers and the Rev. R. C. Veirs, Perry, officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, in Stillwater.
