Fern Elizabeth (Goley) Ingersol

July 20, 1907 – April 3, 1987

Fern Ingersol, 79, died April 3, 1987.

Born July 20, 1907, she was the daughter of Theodore “Dode” and Ida (Renfro) Goley. She graduated from Perry High School in 1926 and attended Oklahoma A. & M.

She taught the primary division at Perry Elementary before her marriage to John Foster Ingersol on August 29, 1931. They lived in Ponca City before moving to Bartlesville.

Ms. Ingersol taught at the Horace Mann School in Bartlesville and was active in the Bartlesville Education Association, American Association of University Women, and the Alpha NU chapter of Kappa Kappa Iota.

She was very hospitable and opened their home, the Wagon Wheel Ranch, to many gatherings.

Survivors include her husband and son, John.

She will be interred at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville.
