May R. (Wells) Kasl

1890 – September 5, 1977

May R. Kasl died on September 5, 1977, in Blackwell.

Born in Wisconsin in 1890, the former May Wells graduated from Perry High School in 1909. She taught in the city schools for a few years and was a great favorite in both church and social circles.

On November 4, 1913, she and William M. Kasl were married at the home of her adoptive parents in Enid. Mr. Kasl was a member of the drug firm of Lucas & Kasl, the South Side Pharmacy.

In 1915 they moved to Blackwell where he operated the Kasl Drug and later the Kasl-Hutton Drug. Mrs. Kasl was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Their daughter, Lois E. Craig, preceded her in death in 1967.

Mrs. Kasl is survived by her husband.

Burial will be at the Roberts-IOOF Cemetery in Blackwell, Oklahoma.
