Sports have held a keen interest for Ronald Clay Kasl, 17-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Kasl of 1025 Delaware street. During his nine years in Perry schools he has participated in football six years and in baseball four years. He earned a letter award in football. Ronald attended three years of school at Lucien. He is a member of the Perry Future Farmers of America chapter, and plans to work after graduation.

Ronald Clay Kasl, 86, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Born Thursday, December 7, 1933, in Lucien, Oklahoma, he was the son of Henry Clay Kasl and Iva Sue (Johnson) Kasl. He graduated from Perry High School in 1951.
Mr. Kasl and Sondra Lou Anderson, also a Perry High School graduate, were married on January 23, 1954. He served in the United States Army.
He worked as a data technician.
