Guy William Kirchner

March 26, 1891 – February 28, 1950

Guy W. Kirchner, 58, died unexpectedly Tuesday at Denver, Colorado.

Born March 26, 1891, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, he was the son of W. H. and Frances “Fannie” Kirchner. He graduated from Perry High School in 1911. For the next few years he made his home in Fort Worth, Texas.

Following his military service in World War I, he moved to Clay Center, Nebraska, where he joined R. M. “Curly” Kirchner in management of the Clay Center Ford Motor Company agency, the only complete garage and automotive service and repair shop in the county. After the death of the senior partner in 1932, Mr. Kirchner operated the business as Kirchner’s Garage until selling the business in 1939.

He was a member of Post 87, American Legion, Clay Center.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances (Lynch) Kirchner, and two brothers, Ralph and Kenneth.

Funeral services will be held March 2 with burial at the Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
