Dewayne August Blocker

December 31, 1951 – May 21, 2021

Dewayne August Blocker passed away May 21, 2021, at his home in Wellston at the age of 69.

Born December 31, 1951, in Perry, Oklahoma, he was the son of Franklin Leroy and Mildred Mae (Beier) Blocker. He graduated from Perry High School in 1970.

Dewayne was a mechanical engineer for many years and a member of the Methodist Church in Wellston.

His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Cartledge, of the home; daughter Katina and husband Kenneth Warnock, son Jefferey Blocker and wife Becky, stepson Michael Cartledge and wife Tiffany, grandsons Matthew Warnock, Jacob Warnock, Aiden Cartledge, and Keane Cartledge, granddaughter Kiersten Cartledge, and great-grandson Colt Warnock, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A private graveside service was held at the Wellston Cemetery.
