Christopher James Boone

December 30, 1975 – February 8, 2022

Christopher James Boone, 46, of Rockport, MA, passed away in his home on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born on December 30, 1975, in Perry, Oklahoma, the son of Jacob and Elaine (Marc-Aurele) Boone.

Chris went to Perry High School in Perry, OK, and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Business from Oklahoma State University. He worked in medical stop loss insurance sales at Sun Life before spending the majority of his career at TRU Services working closely with his beloved aunt and uncle Jerome and Anne Trupiano.

Chris had an adventurous spirit and a smile that would light up a room. He was married to the love of his life and was the most amazing stepdad to Trinity and Kenzie. He was an avid hiker exploring many of New Hampshire’s 4000 footers. He was Oklahoma through and through with a great love for his hometown and college football, especially OU and OSU. He loved to ski and cherished the many ski weekends with his sisters, brother-in-laws and his niece and nephews and especially the yearly cousins ski trip. An animal lover at heart, he cherished his time with his German Shepherd King and his rescue George. Chris loved fast cars, tequila shots, dad jokes, making people laugh and most of all his family.

Chris is survived by his loving wife Stephanie Boone; his two stepdaughters Trinity Elder and Kenzie Elder of Rockport, MA; his mother, Elaine Boone of Rockport, MA; his sister Renee Trupiano, her husband Michael Trupiano and his nephews Michael and Jack Trupiano of Rockport, MA; his sister Erin Shelton, her husband Jeffery Shelton and his nephew and niece Jacob and Skylar Shelton of Rockport, MA. Chris is also survived by many aunts, uncles, many generations of cousins, his aunt and uncle Betty and Jim Taber of Perry, OK; close family friends Nancy and Walter Hirschman of Perry, OK, many extended family in Perry, OK, and his beloved dog George. Chris is predeceased by his father Jacob Boone, grandparents Leo and Thelma Marc-Aurele and Betty Taber and his forever companion King.
