Virginia Hull

FFA princess in 1941-42 and football attendant in 1943-44 at Great Bend, Kan., before enrolling in PHS. She is on the student council this year as secretary, and plays on the Lutheran baseball team.

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Hull of Garden City, Kan., she also has had three years in glee club, one year in acapella choir, is reporter for the Home Front, church paper, a member of the Walther League and Pen Pal club, Lutheran choir, and Allah Rohs, girls’ club.

She was born July 27, 1927, at Corcoran, Calif., where she attended grade school. She also attended grade school here, but went to Great Bend for high school before coming back here.

She wants to attend medical school and become a bone specialist after finishing high school, or go to Oklahoma City and become a doctor’s assistant.

Virginia Mildred (Hull) Kline

July 27, 1927 – September 5, 1953

Mrs. Virginia Hull Kline, 26, and her infant daughter died Sept 5 in a Beloit, Kan., hospital. She had entered the hospital to give birth to a child, which was stillborn.

A 1945 graduate of Perry High School, Mrs. Kline had been making her home in Downs, Kan. She was married in May 1948 to Donald Kline of Great Bend.

Survivors include her husband; one son, C. A., 3, of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Hull of Great Bend; one brother, Clifton Hull Jr. of Garden City, Kan.; and Mrs. Wood.

Two children preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Great Bend, Kan. with burial at the Great Bend Cemetery in Great Bend, Kansas.
