Peggy Lynn Studebaker

is planning to take nurse’s training after getting her high school diploma. She wants to enroll at University hospital in Enid for the fall term.

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Studebaker, 304 South Twelfth street, Peggy was born in this city August 5, 1927. Except for one year of grade school in Pennsylvania, she has attended only the Perry schools.

She is a member of the Order of Rainbow for Girls and the Presbyterian church and was in the high school glee club in 1943-44.

Peggy Lynn Barton, 68, St. Joseph Medical Center Nurse’s technician, died Friday, Sept. 29, 1995.

Survivors include her sons, Merle of Wichita, Bill, Bob, both of Darby; daughters, Janet Downs of Darby, Diana Borntrager, Judy Fleming, all of Wichita, Joyce Ortez of Boulder, Colo.; brothers, Ralph Studebaker of Pleasanton, Calif., Donald Studebaker of North Glenn, Colo., Kenneth Studebaker of Wichita; sister, Pat Gray of Pleasanton, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, at the Broadway Mortuary. Memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
