Horseback riding and water skiing are the hobbies of Jacquie Lynn Huff. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David R. Huff, 8 Terry drive and was born Nov. 19, 1956, at Ponca City. She was senior class vice president and was active in girls basketball, 1972-75; National Honor Society, 1973-75; Future Homemakers of America, 1972-75; Thespians, 1972-73; and Future Teachers of America, 1974-75. She plans to attend Northwestern Oklahoma State university.
Jacquie Lynn (Huff) Hand

Jacquie Lynn Hand, age 65, of Perry, Oklahoma, passed away February 26, 2022, at Integris Baptist Medical Center, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Jacquie was born on November 19, 1956, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to David and Peggy (Osborn) Huff. She grew up in Perry, Oklahoma, and graduated from Perry High School in 1975. She furthered her education at Oklahoma State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Arts and Language Arts. She went on to earn her master’s degree in Arts and Communication from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Jacquie taught English and speech at the middle and high school grade levels in Shidler and Tuttle Schools. She was instrumental in developing curricula for gifted and talented as well as establishing a middle school speech program. In 1997, she moved to Colorado where she was an ASIC test operator and a P6 lead operator at the Atmel corporation. Jacquie was also an adjunct instructor at Remington College in Colorado Springs. After retiring, Jacquie gave much of her life caring for elderly friends and family.
Jacquie was talented and had many interests. She could play almost any instruments by ear; her favorites were the piano and accordion. She enjoyed reading classical literature, studying the Bible, and writing. Jacquie spent many years active in rodeoing, horse riding, and training. Her love of the outdoors included hiking, skiing, fishing, and hunting with her brother. She also loved watching college and professional football and followed high school wrestling. Spending time with family, especially her niece and nephews made her the favorite aunt.
Survivors include: her parents, David and Peggy Huff; brother, Donald Huff; brother, Darren Huff and wife Deana and their two sons, Riley and Denton Huff; sister Kyla Golay and husband Stacy and their children, Kayle Vibbard and husband Kyle and their children; Cody Golay and wife August and their children; Levi Golay and wife Brittany and their children; and daughter Takina Trevino and husband Eloy and their children.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Perry at 10AM with Chris Rabon officiating. Jacquie will be laid to rest at Bethel Cemetery in Glencoe, Oklahoma, following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
