– daughter of H. A. Snyder, 811 Holly, is 17 years old and was born at Enid, OK.

Her grade school years were spent at Perry and Enid.

In 1940 she was a member of the National Junior Honor Society and in 1943-44 the National Honor Society. She is affiliated with the Order of Rainbow for Girls.

She served as secretary of her senior class, is a member of the glee club, and is senior class representative on the Teen Town council.

She expects to attend Phillips University at Enid.

Jacquelyn (Snyder) Addington

Jacquelyn Addington, 91, died March 1, 2018.

Born November 10, 1926, in Enid, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Snyder. She was raised and graduated from high school in Perry, OK. She graduated from Phillips University, Enid, OK, and married Bruce Addington in Altoona, Kansas, on April 13, 1951.

Jackie was a schoolteacher, church secretary, and homemaker. She had a longtime interest in reading, ceramics, gardening, fireworks, sewing, genealogy, and church service.

Jackie is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce, to whom she was married 64 years.

She is survived by her son, Chris (Susan) Addington; daughter, Lisa (Richard) Deeds; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at Pine Valley Christian Church, 5620 E. 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67208. Memorials to Pine Valley Christian Church.
