Leslie Vernon Huffington

August 15, 1924 – January 11, 1986

Leslie Huffington, 61, of 524 S. Orchard, Stillwater, Oklahoma, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 1986, at his home.

He was born August 15, 1924, in Perry, the son of Wilbur Clinton and Iva Solo Huffington. He married Evan Geline and he lived in the Perry and Stillwater areas all of his life.

An electrician for Oklahoma State University for 20 years, he was a member of the Baptist Church, Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army.

Survivors include his wife, Evan, of the home; one son, Wilbur Huffington of Perkins; and two daughters, Nancy Galloway and Judy Curtis, both of Stillwater.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater with Reverend Sam Davison of the Bible Baptist Church officiating.
