Yvonne Marie (Baetz) Hodge

January 4, 1939 – June 22, 2022

Yvonne Marie Hodge, 83, lifelong resident of Perry, Oklahoma, passed away June 22, 2022, at Fountain Brook Assisted Living in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

Yvonne was born January 4, 1939, in Perry, the daughter of Max and Meta (Gorath) Baetz. She grew up and attended Perry Public Schools, graduating with the Class of 1957.

After high school, she went to work for Champlin Oil Company in Enid where she learned data processing, later accepting employment for data processing with The Charles Machine Works, Inc., from where she retired.

She and LeRoy Hodge were married at Christ Lutheran Church where she was a life-long member. Known for her beautiful soprano voice, she also played piano and organ. She sang with the church choir and the CMW Christmas choir.

She loved her two dogs. Max, who survives, and Maddie, who will be buried with her.

While traveling with a group, Yvonne was picked to be a contestant on The Price Is Right where she won a car and a trip to the Grand Canyon.

Surviving her is one brother, Donald Baetz, Poteau, Oklahoma; sister-in-law Mary Arnold and her husband Chuck; brother-in-law, Jim Smith and his wife Donna; and nieces and nephews: Roni Folsom, Gary Baetz and wife Patti, Mark Baetz and wife LeeAnn, Cary Baetz and wife Treca, Jerry Potter, Stacy Nowotny and husband Larry, Keith Arnold and wife Cindy, Kevin Arnold and wife Pat, Kim Arnold, Cory Smith and wife Connie, Tony Smith and wife Shannon and Eric Smith and wife Sheri.

She was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy; parents; one brother, Ronald Baetz; one niece, Jana Potter; and one nephew, Richard Folsom.

Funeral service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Christ Lutheran Church. Rev. Barrie Henke will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her honor to Christ Lutheran Church.
