Mr. and Mrs. Ben Niles, 703 Country Club road, are parents of Kathy Sue Niles, who was born Nov. 18, 1953, in Oklahoma City. She attended Sunset grade school 1960-64. She has been in band, pep club and Thespians since 1969; Spanish club 1969-70; band council 1969-70; Annual Staff 1969-71; senior play committee member; football queen attendant 1970-71; cheerleader 1971-72; Miss PHS nominee 1969-70; class secretary 1969-70; class treasurer 1970-71; Thespians historian 1970-72 and was named the Prettiest Senior Girl, English is her favorite subject and Freebees are her hobby. She plans to enroll at the University of Oklhaoma.
Kathy Sue Niles

Kathy Sue Niles, age 68, of Santa Ana, California, passed away August 22, 2022, in Santa Ana, California.
Born on November 18, 1953, at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Myrna (Yant) Niles. Kathy grew up in Perry, Oklahoma, and graduated from Perry High School in 1972. She was briefly employed at Ditch Witch before moving to California.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Vicki Ann Niles and Trisa Renee Niles.
Survivors include her brother, Clay Niles, and his family.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the First Christian Church in Perry, Oklahoma, with Reverend Josh Bell officiating. Kathy will be laid to rest at Grace Hill Cemetery following the service.
