Jeraline Fick

Promptness is one of the chief assets of this Perry senior, Jeraline Ruth Fick, who has not been tardy a single day since she entered high school.

Jeraline is 18 years old and was born in Arkansas City, Kan. Living here for the past eight years, she is the daughter of Mrs. Esther Fick, 500 Jackson. Her first three years of grade school were at Wilson building, Cushing. From the fourth through the eighth grades, she was a student at the Perry Christ Lutheran school.

She is serving as Walther League secretary this year. Her plans for the future are not complete.

Jeraline Ruth (Fick) Kuhlmann

Jeraline Ruth Kuhlmann, 81, passed away June 3, 2006, in Ft. Worth.

She was born Feb. 14, 1925, in Arkansas City, Kansas. Her parents were Fred Fick and Esther Schnack Fick. Jeraline graduated from Perry High School in 1943 and worked as a switchboard operator and receptionist. She was married in 1942 and lived in Oklahoma City until 2004.

Jeraline was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Foster Grandparent Program with the OKC Schools.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Harry Kuhlmann.

Survivors include her sons, Karl and wife Dorothy of Ft. Worth, TX, and Timothy and wife Pauline of Brockville, Canada; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 8, 2006, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1800 NW 36. Interment will follow at Yukon Cemetery.
