Raymond Arthur Kukuk, Jr., passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma, with his wife by his side. He was 84.

Raymond was born September 25, 1938, in Perry, Oklahoma, to Raymond A. Kukuk and Anna A. (Feken) Kukuk. He grew up in Perry where he graduated a Maroon in May of 1956. After graduating from high school, Raymond joined the Army National Guard where he served the Perry, Guthrie, and Edmond 45th division.

He finally made his home in Enid and began his career with the City of Enid, serving as a police officer for almost 19 years and then in the building maintenance department for another 10 years before retiring.

He and Roselie Houska were married on October 4, 2004, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They brought much joy and happiness to each other for almost 19 years. The love they had for each other will now live on in the memories Rose will cherish forever.

Some of Raymond’s hobbies include fishing, reading, board games (Scrabble), and his furry friends, especially his cats.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Herman and Audrey Kukuk, and Harold and Lillie Kukuk.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2023, at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Perry. Interment will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry. Family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s, Wounded Warriors, or Furever Friends Fund Animal Rescue in Enid.
