Michael Ronnie (Mike) Mesloh, 55, Perry, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord and Savior August 29, 2023, at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City.

Mike was born September 24, 1967, in Borger, Texas, to Melvin Henry Mesloh and Betty Lou Fritts Mesloh. He moved to Perry with his parents when he was only three days old. He grew up in Perry and attended Christ Lutheran Elementary School and graduated from Perry High School with the Class of 1985. He attended both Okmulgee Technical School and Oklahoma State University, earning his associate degree in electrical technology and his bachelor’s degree in design engineering. He established his own dirt contracting business, Mesloh Enterprises Inc.

He and the former Coralee Straws were married January 31, 1998, at Christ Lutheran Church where he has been a longtime member, serving as an elder and chairman of the board. For many years he served as a greeter and head usher. He loved his church, and his faith was very important to him. He truly loved God and his family. Mike was very committed to his wife and was a very hard worker. He was a kind and caring person and would help anyone. He is the father of one son, Micah Mesloh and his wife Jacey of Perry, and grandfather of one granddaughter, Peyton Mesloh.

Mike was a black belt in Ta Kwon Do and at one time owned and operated a Ta Kwon Do School for several years. He loved many kinds of music, but especially country and Celtic genres.

He is survived by his wife, Coralee, of the home; his son, Micah, and wife Jacey, Perry, and one grandchild, Peyton Mesloh; father-in-law Albert Straws, Del City; aunt and uncle Helen and Marvin Schmidt; best friend since kindergarten, Shawn Courtright; and a host of other relatives and friends; and his favorite pet, Rooney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, at Christ Lutheran Church in Perry with Pastor John Wackler officiating. Burial will follow at Richburg Cemetery, east of Perry. Memorials may be made in his honor to Bethesda Lutheran Home.
