Margaret Woods
– 17 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Woods, who reside at Newkirk, route 2. She was born at Gueda Springs, Kan., in July 1926.
Miss Woods attended grade school at Pleasant Valley, near Newkirk and also attended highschool at Newkirk.
She is undecided as to what she will do after she finishes high school.
Margaret Louise (Woods) Holt

Margaret Louise “Mike” Holt, 93, passed away Dec. 19, 2019, in Pueblo, Colo.
She was born in Gueda Springs, Kan., on July 18, 1926, to Jasper and Sarah Woods who had seven children.
Mike was a sweet, loving, kind and compassionate person who loved being around family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, Jack W. Holt; daughter-in-law, Debbie Holt; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brandon) Andrew, Melissa (James) Patterson, Kimberly, Jade (Faisal) and Chad Holt; great-grandchildren, Kyle Andrew, Alexia Holt, Makayla, Makenzie, James Diesel and Jackson Patterson.
Mike was preceded in death by her three children, Vincent, Donald and Jack Jr.
Memorial service, 3 p.m. Friday, Pueblo West Chapel, 381 S. Joe Martinez Blvd., Pueblo West, Colo.
