Don Wesly David Thompson is the son of Mrs. Ena Thompson, 718 Ash street. He was born May 14, 1949, in Chicago. He attended classes Los Angeles before enrolling here. He was in football 1964-67; wrestling 1964-67; track 1964-67; regional wrestling champ 1964; Big 4 runner-up 1965; football all-conference; and district fullback 1966-67. Government is his favorite subject and boxing is his hobby. He plans to enroll at Hiram Scott college in Scotts Bluff, Neb.

Donald Wesly David Thompson, AKA: “Don” or “POPS,” age 74, transitioned to his final seat in heaven the morning of December 25, 2023, at Norman Regional Hospital.
Born in May, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of Homer and Edna Thompson. He attended classes in Los Angeles before enrolling at Perry High School, where he graduated in 1967.
Memorial and Honor Services will be on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., January 6, 2024, at First Baptist Church, 601 Fir Street Perry, Oklahoma.
