While in high school Barbara Postelwait was a member of the band, the office staff, the library staff, and the junior play cast. She also participated in several class assemblies and served as a courtesy guide. She is the 18-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Postelwait of 719 Jackson street. Barbara was born in Perry March 6, 1935, and attended all of her schooling in Perry. She is undecided as to what she shall do after graduation.
Barbara Ann (Postelwait) Blair

Barbara Ann Blair, age 88, died on March 22, 2023, in Enid, Oklahoma.
Born in Perry, Oklahoma, March 6, 1935, she was the daughter of Charles and Hazel Postelwait. She graduated from Perry High School in 1953. On June 26, 1954, Barbara married Ronald Blair and they enjoyed 68 years of marriage.
Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and crafting but her true passion was wedding planning. She worked at Ms. Blanton’s Bridal Shop in Enid and made numerous wedding cakes and bridal décor for brides in the Enid area for many years.
Survivors include her husband Ronald Blair; her daughters Robin Finch and husband Steve of Morris, Oklahoma; Rhonda Skrapke and her husband Rick of Enid; her son Ronnie Blair of Enid; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings and her daughter, Kelly Hawkins.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 25, 2023, in the Anderson Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dwayne Schroeder officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research.
