Rozetta Mae Norman is the 17-year-old daughter of Mrs. Gertrude Norman, 823 Sixth street. She attended Perry schools six years and Canton schools for five years. Rozetta has served as band queen and a member of the PHS student council. She is a past president of the Theta Rho lodge and was a member of the cast of the senior play. She was secretary of her homeroom in 1950-51. Upon finishing her work at Perry high school she hopes to enroll in business college.

Rozetta Beasley passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 90. She spent the majority of her life in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the last few years in North Carolina under the care of her son.

She was born on October 25, 1933, in Eagle City, Oklahoma. After Rozetta graduated from Perry High School, she married her sweetheart Dean Beasley. Rozetta and Dean went on to have two sons, John Beasley and David Beasley.

She lived her life serving others including many volunteer roles. She loved spreading smiles and joy with boxes of chocolate and spoiling her children and grandchildren.

Rozetta is survived by her sister Carolyn (Wilda), sons David and John, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dean, her mother and father Gertrude and Ernest, and sisters Marilyn and Margaret.

A graveside service is scheduled for June 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Floral Haven, Broken Arrow, OK.
