Ruth (Mendenhall) Draper

March 10, 1885 – December 25, 1937

Ruth Draper, 52, resident of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away at her home Eighth and Florence, at 2:10 p.m. Christmas Day.

Born March 10, 1885, in Kansas, she was the daughter of J. W. Mendenhall. She graduated from Perry high in 1905. On January 6, 1907, Ruth and Bert Draper were married in Claremore. Eight children were born to this union.

The deceased is survived by her husband, Bert Draper, two sons, Morris Draper, of Washington, D.C. and Mark, Claremore, and three daughters, Naomi, Anna, and Virginia Ruth, all of Claremore.

Funeral services were held at the Christian Church with the pastor of the Adventist Church in charge. Interment was made in Woodlawn cemetery, Claremore, OK.
