Marjorie Bethora (Brier) Cramer

Marjorie Bethora (Brier) Cramer, 95, died Oct. 25, 2002, at a local hospital in Ardmore, OK.
Born in Perry on Feb. 16, 1907, she was the daughter of James Elba and Edith M. Stumpff Brier. She lived at Perry most of her life, graduating from Perry High School. She married Gerald S. Cramer at Guthrie on March 4, 1926. They lived in Perry where they were blessed with three children and Gerald owned an automobile repair shop.
The family moved to Tulsa in 1942. Gerald died in 1958. Marjorie continued to live in Tulsa until 1972 when she moved back to Perry. In 1987 she moved from Perry to Ardmore, where she lived at Ardmore Village. She enjoyed all her friends and loved doing arts and crafts at the village.
She was a member of First Christian Church of Ardmore and Perry. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by all her family and friends.
Also preceding her in death was her husband in 1958; her parents; a sister, Maxine Douglas; and a son-in-law, Phil St. Pierre.
Survivors include daughters, Virginia St. Pierre, Tulsa, and Sally Russell and her husband, Marion, Ardmore; son, Gerald S. Cramer Jr. and his wife, Pat, Chickasha; one nephew, Jim Douglas, Kennewick, Wash.; seven grandchildren, Caren Conwell, Cinda Dutto and Phyllis Hager, all of Tulsa, Terry Cramer, Claremore, Suzanne Dransfield, Grapevine, Texas, Denise Bishop, Ardmore, and Steven Russell, Norman; 13 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
