Viola May (Hogszette) Gephart

Viola May Gephart, 48, of Los Angeles County, California, died unexpectedly at her home on November 18, 1959.
Born in Golden City, Missouri, on June 11, 1911, she was the daughter of Henry E. and Laura A. Hogszette. Following her graduation from Perry high school in 1930 she attended the Guthrie Business College and the Enid Business College.
Viola held several positions in Perry, worked with the district Works Progress Administration in Enid, and served as the Noble County director of the National Youth Administration.
On June 26, 1937, she and Marlowe “DeWitt” Gephart were married in Los Angeles, California. The couple made their home in California where DeWitt worked as an accountant and contract manager.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and survived by her sister, Mrs. Bud (Reba) Warren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Pierce Brothers chapel, Monterey, California. Interment will be at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Glendale, California.
