Ruth King, 69, of Grand Prairie, Texas, died on November 20, 1978, at the Grand Prairie Community Hospital, where she had been a patient for six years with Huntington’s chorea.

Born in Oklahoma on May 6, 1909, she was the daughter of Frank Edwin and Silva Sarah Loveall Godfrey. She graduated from Perry high school in 1927.

On October 6, 1929, she and Christy W. King were married in Enid. They were blessed with two sons, Christy, Herbert, and one daughter, Sylvia. The family lived in many places including Lavern and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Boise, Idaho, Denver, Colorado, and Grand Prairie, Texas.

Burial will be in the Southland Memorial Park, Grand Prairie, Texas.
