Eugene Jirous, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Jirous, was born July 2, 1918 in Perry, Oklahoma. He attended the Catholic school and Perry High school.
Jirous is interested in aviation.

July 2, 1918 – August 19, 1980
Eugene C. Jirous, 62, of 4207 Woodpark Drive, Stow, Ohio, died unexpectedly of apparent natural causes Tuesday.
Born in Perry, Oklahoma on July 2, 1918, he was the son of Charles Carl and Anna Helen Palovik Jirous. He was a graduate of Perry high in 1936 and the Civil Service school in San Antonio, Texas. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army air Corps and served in World War II.
For more than 30 years, Mr. Jirous was involved in dental equipment sale in the Akron-Canton area. Originally he was the owner of the Uphouse Co. but more recently was associated with the D. L. Saslow Co. of Milwaukee in the Akron area. At the time of his death he was associated with the Don R. Long Funeral home.
Survivors include: his wife, Jean; son, Mark of Milwaukee; daughters, Mrs. Donald (Cynthia) Acker of Hudson, Tammy, at home; parents, Charles and Anna of Perry, Okla; brother, Marvin of Oklahoma City, Okla. and sister, Arlene Swartz of Perry.
Service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley and Cirello Funeral Home in Akron with the Rev. Roland G. Carter officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park
