Murriel Catherine (Vance) Cooper

December 12, 1902 – February 12, 1922

Murriel Catherine Cooper, 19, departed this life on February 12, 1922.

Born on December 12, 1902, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. W. Vance of Red Rock, Oklahoma. Following her graduation from Perry high, she married Daniel Lee Cooper on September 21, 1921, in Enid, Oklahoma.

Murriel confessed her faith in her Lord about a year ago, and was a member of the order of Royal Neighbors at Ceres, Oklahoma.

Survivors include: her parents; a husband; infant daughter, Delores Nadine Cooper; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Stockton, Lamont, Okla., Mrs. Faye Garten, Perry, and Zelma of the home address; and two brothers, Ralph and Loyd of Red Rock. In addition to these she leaves a host of relatives and friends who feel most deeply her parting from them.

The funeral service was held February 13 at the First Christian church at Perry conducted by Rev. G. Frank Sanders. The body was laid to rest in Mr. Carmel cemetery.
