Mae Alma “Mayme” Frush, 75, homemaker, died Sunday in a Las Vegas, Nevada hospital
Born in Oklahoma on January 10, 1905, she was the youngest daughter of Hiter Alexander and Amanda Victoria Cate Thompson. She graduated from Perry high school in 1923.
On June 10, 1923, she and Edward M. Meyering were married in Guthrie, Oklahoma. They were blessed with a son before their divorce in 1931.
Mayme and Leonard Craig Frush were married in Los Angeles, California on April 19, 1951. He was employed by Standard Oil in California and Hawaii. Following his retirement they moved to Las Vegas, where they lived for 14 years before her death.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard of Las Vegas, son, Robert E. Meyering of Calremore, Oklahoma; sister, Kathryn McCarthy of Vallejo, Calif; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were Wednesday afternoon.
