Carlyle A. Kerr, age 79, of Oklahoma City, died April 20, 1986.

Born on November 7, 1906, he was the son of John Charles Henry and Florence Pearl Brown Kerr. The Kerrs moved to Perry in 1921 where his father opened a tire and supply store. Following his graduation from Perry high school in 1924, he attended the Chillicothe Business college, Chillicothe, Missouri.

He resided in Oklahoma City since 1930, where he worked for Kings Van and Storage, retiring in 1968, and continued his public accounting practice until his death.

He was a member of the Knights of Phythias, the D.O.K.K. Marching Band, Transportation Club, YMCA, and St. Lukes United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie Mae Sullivan Kerr of the home; a son, Raymond C. Kerr and daughter-in-law, Nancy, grandchildren, Jeffrey C., Angela Kay, and Amy Louise Kerr, all of Houston, Texas.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
