Patricia Ann Wise has had a busy four years at Perry high school. She was in the senior play, served on the Perryscope staff, sang with the glee club, was vice president and president of the Future Teachers of America, played in the band 1953-57, and took part in the all-school revue and class assemblies. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wise, 925 Grove street, and was born March 17, 1939, in Oklahoma City. She attended school in Seminole before coming to Perry high. Her favorite subject is Problems of American Democracy, and she plans to attend Oklahoma A. & M. college.
Patricia Ann (Wise) Puckett

Patricia Ann Wise passed away January 3, 2025, in Oklahoma City.
Born in Oklahoma City on March 17, 1939, she was the daughter of Lee Jacob and Willie Mae (Todd) Wise. She graduated from Perry High School in 1957 and Draughon’s Business College in Oklahoma City. Patricia worked in the extension office in Perry for several years.
On June 1, 1962, she married Joe E. Puckett in the First Christian Church in Perry. The couple made their home in the Tulsa area. Patricia was office manager for the head of pediatrics at Oklahoma University Medical School in Tulsa for 32 years retiring in 2003.
After the death of her husband in 2014, she moved to Oklahoma City to be close to her sister, brother, and nieces.
She was an active member of Woodland Christian Church in Tulsa. Patricia loved dogs and enjoyed traveling, reading, and going to the movies.
Preceding her in death were: her husband; her parents; two brothers Charles and Gary; nephew Shane Smith; niece Dee Lambert; and brother-in-law, Harvey Ely.
Survivors include:: her sister Naveda Ely; brother Wesley (Steave Harlon); nieces Gayla (Edward) Thompson, and Linda (Joey) Pyeatt; nephews Scott Wise, Chad (Tracy) Wise and Cory (Shiloh) Smith; cousins and other relatives.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday March 29th 10:00 at Grace Hill Cemetery Pavilion.
