Letha Mae (Ellis) Doolittle

Letha Mae Doolittle, 91, died Saturday, September 13, 1997.

Born in Perry, Oklahoma, on March 15, 1906, she was the daughter of Eli Joseph and May Elizabeth Hamar Ellis. She graduated from Perry high school in 1925.

On August 31, 1925, she and Major Doolittle were married. She worked side by side with her husband managing a cafe in Kay county, Oklahoma, and a grocery store in Enid, Oklahoma. They were blessed with a son. Major died in 1971.

Her son, Kenneth Leroy Doolittle survives.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid, Oklahoma.
