Ottie Webb, Jr.
– 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Webb, was born in Fairfax, Oklahoma.
He attended schools in Fairfax, Eureka, Kan., Sumner, and has attended the Perry high school for the last two years.
Hunting is his hobby.
Ottie plans to go to Muskogee Business College to take a Civil Service course after his graduation from high school.

Ottie C. Webb, Jr., 50, of 110 S. Main in Galesburg, Illinois, died at St. Mary’s Hospital, Galesburg, Sunday, May 27, 1973 at 5:40 p.m.
Born at Fairfax, Oklahoma, on February 26, 1923, he was the son of Ottie C. and Inez Rebecca Gorton Webb.
He was a World War II veteran, serving with the U.S. Navy.
For the past seven years he lived in Abingdon, where he operated a shoe repair shop.
He married Betty Cherovsky at Lincoln, Nebraska, June 9, 1960.
Survivors include: his wife, Betty; mother, Inez Webb, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven sons, Ottie Webb III, James Webb and Ralph Webb, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bradley, Philippe, and Douglas Webb, all of Sioux City, Iowa, and Stephen Webb of Galesburg; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Boling of California and Mrs. Sharon McBride of Sioux City; a brother, Henry Webb of Oklahoma City; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral will be at Larson Funeral Home, Abingdon, Illinois, Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Abingdon Cemetery.
