Marjorie Allene (Grimes) St.Clair

Marjorie St. Clair, 78, of Ozona, Texas, passed away Friday, May 3, 2002, in a local care center.
Born in Bartlesville, Okla. on Nov. 16, 1923, she was the daughter of Guy Clifford and Lois E Thompson Grimes. She attended Perry high school.
On September 26, 1940, she and fellow PHS alumnus, Donald Dean St.Clair, were married at the First Christian Church in Guthrie, Oklahoma. The couple lived many years in Ozona, where he was employed at Shell Oil Co. Don preceded her in death in 1983. Following his death she married Les Gambill of Ozona.
She was a Baptist and a member of the Ozona Art Guild.
Survivors include her husband, Les of Ozona; five daughters, Janis St.Clair and Katherine Sewell, both of Ozona, Dinky Wagner of Iraan, Dona Kay Erickson of Las Vegas, Nev., and Evelyn West of Sour Lake, Texas; one son, John Mark St. Clair of Bakersfield, Calif.; one sister, Evelyn Shatswell of Overland Park, Kan.; grandchildren, Dawn Freeman, Donald Pearston, Bart Grimes, Erin Martinez, Amy Barber, Stephanie West, Don West, and Lily Anna Wagner; and great-grandchildren, Drew Barber, Kelsey Grimes, Bailey Grimes, and Hannah Freeman.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family requests memorials to the activity department of the Crockett County Care Center.
