Margaret (McAlpine) Zueck

April 26, 1924 – November 24, 1998

Margaret McAlpine Zueck, 74, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, died Nov. 24, 1998.

Born in Brewer, Oklahoma, on April 26, 1924, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George McAlpine.

On November 13, 1943, she and Forest Brandon were married in Pueblo, Colorado. They divorced the following year. On March 3, 1945, she and Ernest Zueck were married in Stockton, California.

Mrs. Zueck was employed by State Farm Insurance Co. and the city of Denver.

She was a member of Mile Hi Church of Religious Science, the Order of the Easter Star Chapter No. 123, Kitydids, Daughter of the Nile, the Symphony Guild, St. Andrew’s Society, and Mount Vernon and Rolling Hills country clubs.

Her interests included playing bridge, reading and visits to Black Hawk and Las Vegas.

Survivors include: her husband, Ernest; two daughter, Karen Zueck Clare, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Kay, Littleton; a brother, Lloyd McAlpine, Pueblo; two sisters, Hazel Smith, Little Rock, Ark., and Ruthe Phelps, Albuquerque, New Mexico; and four grandchildren.

Services were Nov. 27, at Mile Hi Church of Religious Science. Entombment was in Crown Hill Tower of Memories.
