Moving to Perry five years ago, Marie Scott has received all her secondary education at the Maroon high school.
She was born in Alabama and attended grade school there. Marie is the 18-year-old daughter of Mrs. Pearl Scott, 643 Delaware street.
Her chief extracurricular activity at PHS has been the high school band. Marie has not completed plans for the coming years.
Willie “Marie” (Scott) Faw Faw

Willie Marie Scott Faw Faw, 96, died on January 12, 2021, in Norman, Oklahoma
Born in Goodwater, Alabama, on September 5, 1924, she was the daughter of Alfred M. and Alice Pearl McMullen Scott. She was the baby of 7 children and was a loving daughter to her parents and siblings who have preceded her in death.
On December 25, 1943, she married on an army base in Waynesville, Missouri, just before her fiance, Louis Faw Faw’s, battalion shipped out to the front. She was a “Rosie Riveter” working at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City while her husband was fighting in the Ardennes, known as the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium. During their 73 year marriage they were blessed with six children.
She had an endearing love of cats, flowers, Glenn Miller, and dancing.
Predeceasing her in death were three children: Susan Blair, Shelly West, and Stan Faw Faw.
Survivors include: her daughters, Sharon Luttrell and Sandra Schwartz; and son, Steven Faw Faw.
Following services celebrating her life, she was buried at the Otoe-Missouria Cemetery in Red Rock, Oklahoma.
