Clyde Hamm
Athletics have interested Clyde Hamm enough to lead him to play football for two years and wrestle for one year under Maroon colors.
The Perry senior is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Hamm of Lucien. He was born July 11, 1927, at Perry, and attended grade school at Oklahoma City.
He plans to enter college after getting his high school diploma.
Clyde Frederick Hamm

Clyde Frederick Hamm, age 80, died October 3, 2007, in Tulsa. Oklahoma.
Born in Perry, on July 11, 1927, he was the son of Alfred M. and Bernice Marie Rosa Hamm. Upon graduation from Perry high school in 1945, he enlisted in the United State Coast Guard.
Returning from the service, he enrolled at Oklahoma A. & M. College. In May, 1949, he received a certificate from the Oklahoma A. & M. school of intensive business training in small business ownership and management. Clyde moved to Tulsa, where he began working in the office for an oil drilling company.
On September 8, 1950, he and Claudia Davy, were married in Tulsa. They made their home in Tulsa, where Clyde’s career was in the field of sales.
He was an avid golfer and also a member of the Men’s Forum of Tulsa.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and brother, Malcom.
Survivors include: his wife, Claudia; daughter, Susan Smith and husband, Jack; son, Thomas D. Hamm and wife, Rebecca; and 2 granddaughters , Alisa and Daphne; and brother, Walter.
The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2007, at the First Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Music Fund at the church.
